QR Share Anything - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of QR Share Anything (the "App"), provided by KungApp ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. About the App

The App is a free local-network file-sharing utility. It lets you select one file, temporarily starts a web server on your device, and creates a QR code or local URL that another device on the same local network can use to download that file.

The App does not provide user accounts, cloud storage, paid digital content, subscriptions, premium features, advertising, or external purchase mechanisms.

2. Local File Sharing

Files are transferred directly between devices over your local network. We do not operate a server that receives or stores your files, and we cannot view or recover files shared through the App. A transfer may fail if devices are on different networks, the network isolates connected devices, or a firewall blocks access.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• share only files that you own or have permission and legal authority to share;
• use the App only for lawful purposes;
• use a trusted local network and share the QR code or URL only with intended recipients;
• stop sharing when the intended transfer is complete; and
• not use the App to distribute malware, unlawful material, or content that infringes another person's rights.

4. Security and Privacy

Anyone who can reach the temporary local URL may be able to download the selected file while sharing is active. You should not share sensitive files over an untrusted or public network. You are responsible for selecting the correct file and recipient.

5. Availability and Changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features of the App. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, firewall, router, or network configuration.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original software, design, and branding are owned by KungApp or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App to you. You retain all rights you hold in the files you choose to share.

7. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KungApp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of or inability to use the App. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Your permission to use the App ends if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
