Share Anything - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Share Anything (the "App"), developed by KungApp ("we", "us", or "our"), handles user information. Share Anything is a local file-sharing app: it starts a temporary web server on your device so another device on the same Wi-Fi network can scan a QR code and download a single file you chose to share.

Data Collection

Share Anything does not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data or device data to us or to any third party. The App does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting, or third-party tracking services of any kind.

The file you choose to share, and its file name, never leave your local Wi-Fi network — they are served directly from your device to the other device you scan the QR code with, over a direct local connection. We have no server of our own and no access to the file being transferred.

Permissions

Share Anything requests access to the local network (and, on iOS, "Local Network" permission) solely to run the temporary file server and let another device on the same network reach it. It requests access to your files/photos only when you actively pick the file you want to share. None of this data is sent to us — it stays on your device and the receiving device on your local network.

Children's Privacy

Share Anything does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page, with a new "Last updated" date above.
